When he has finished with them, they are presented to various zoos,though there are a few pets which seem likely to live with him 'till they die, including four large and fierce police dogs, whom he adores. These dogs he insists chose the place at Meudon, for he bought it because they seemed to like it, after rejecting other properties to chich the dogs did not take so kindly.

EXHIBITIONS AND HONORS.

Exhibited in Paris - first Salon d'Automne held after war - 1919 (and every year since). Made Societaire Salon d'Automne,1919.

1925 - Received International Grand Prize - Highest Award - for sculpture in stone from a jury of 65 artists of 23 countries. At the Paris Exposition - Black panther in diorite now at Metropolitan first shown in this outdoor group.

1926 - Official one man show Madrid at Museum Art Moderne.

1927 - Given one man show at Louvre (Pavillon Marchand). Lasted three months - showed 58 pieces of sculpture and 40 big drawings in color and ink,etc. Shown yearly at Salon des Tuileries (Founder-Member). Independents, etc.

1929 - Made Chevalier of Legion of Honor for what he had done for sculpture in France (Twice refused it.)

1934 - Illustrated Aesops Fables - Lithographs.

1935 - One Man Show Brummer - New York - three months. Show at Petit Palais - 60 pieces - sculpture - etchings - frescoes - wood engravings - lithographs.

1936 - Entire Salle at Spanish Exposition Musee du Jeu de Paume-Paris. Sculpture in wood and stone - Portraits in diorite and porphyry. Drawings - frescoes - etchings - etc.

Also showed lithographs one year England, Canada, etc.

January,1937 - Exhibition frescoes - drawings - graphic art - Fifteen Gallery, New York. Later shown Philadelphia and Washington.
