April 4, 1925.

My dear Mrs. Twachtman,

We have sold one of the pastels, the one with the red barn on one side and the little bridge on the other, for $500.

This leaves nine, the total selling prices of which come to $4550.

I think a museum may be interested in getting the entire group. The committee will come in to see them on Monday and will probably ask if a museum price can be put on them as a group.

I would recommend, if agreeable to you, that a price of $4000 for the nine pictures be quoted to the museum.

May I ask you to be good enough to telephone as early as possible on Monday, for the committee will probably be here before the various members to to their own offices.

Yours very truly,

RWM/M
