Dear Mrs. Twachtman,

Thank you very much for your interesting little note about our picture.

I think you are right that it should be offered on the authority of the Evan's Sale which, with the history back of it, would seem to be inclusive enough evidence for anybody.

I hope you and your have been having a fine summer and that you have been storing up a lot of strength for a number of visits to the New York this winter.

It is still quite within possibility that some of the Macbeth family will drop in on you one of these fine fall days that seem to be coming upon us.
