General:

Mr. W. B. Giles of Wilmington, South Carolina having received a special pardon from the President of the United States, you are hereby directed to enter, as far as the jurisdiction of this Bureau extends over it, the property formerly owned by him, and which you now hold as abandoned.

This property will be restored subject to the requirements of Circular No. 3, current series, from this Bureau, and on condition that present lessees be allowed to retain possession
