I am willing to give employment to 30 persons & give them 1/4 of the cotton & 1/6 of the corn made by their labor & feed them, & I am willing to have 15 children, non workers, their parents to pay at the end of the year 1866 2$ per months board for each child that cannot work.
  
I have been a farmer 36 years & have always made plenty to eat as you can see from the children on hand, untill this year. Indolence and stealing by Freedman has got me down to my present condition. My Freedmen while slaves have always done well, & I had no trouble, now they do as they will & I cannot control their action.
  
I have a blind man whom I have taken care of for 27 years What shall I do with him?
