Ossabaw Island, Ga.
June 13th 1866

Sir, 
Andrew Waters (Color'd) enlisted as a Private in Company D, 103d Regt. U.S.C. Infantry, at Hilton Head, on the 4th of March 1865, for three years. He was discharged on the 19th April 1866, at Fort Pulaski, by reason of S.O. No 68, dated Hd Qrs. Mid. Div. Tenn. Nashville, Tenn. April 5, 1866. His discharge is in due form.

Thos. Robinson (color'd) enlisted as a private in Co. D, 103d Regt. U.S.C. Infantry, on the 4th of  Jany 1865, for three years, and was discharged at Fort Pulaski on the fiveteenth April 1866, by reason of said S.O. No. 68. His discharge seems to be in due form.

These persons have requested me to write to you in regard to their bounty, of which they have not yet received any portion. They are at work on this plantation, with us. I know not why they did not receive their bounty, previously to their discharge. Anything that you can do for them will be thankfully acknowledged.
