March 11th., 1949.

Dear Mr. Bywaters:

This morning we received the catalogue of your First Annual Texas Crafts Exhibition, which we notice will be closing in two days.

Of the work reproduced we have been particularly struck by the design of Ronald Williams' pewter and plastic spoons.

If you feel that Mr. Williams would be interested in having a New York gallery offer some of his creations for sale, would you be so kind as either to ask him to contact us himself, or inquire whether he would ship on to us for examination the group of items included in your exhibitiom?

We handle a very small selection of decorative art pieces in our Contemporary American Department.

As the season is already so far advanced, we would like whatever might be submitted to reach us shortly, so that we may have the public's reaction in the few months remaining before warm weather sets in.

Trusting you will not consider this as taking undue of you, but we do not find the name of the person
