April 4th, 1929.

Dear Dr. Valentiner,

Just a line to wish you good-bye. I am sailing tomorrow night, and I hope to see you when you come to Paris.

We have just bought an extremely fine collection in Paris. It is one more reason for me to hope that we will have the pleasure of seeing you there some time this spring.

In the meantime, with my best wishes, kindly believe me,

Yours very truly,

Dr. W.R. Valentiner,
