Mr. R. H. Waegen,
Jacques Seligmann and Company,
3 East 51st Street,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Waegan:

Thank you for your letter of March 14. We are beginning to arrange the exhibition next week and we shall be glad to get the tapestries in good time.

I am glad that you shall come to Detroit while the exhibition will be on. I am sure that you will like the way we shall hang your tapestries.

Dr. Valentiner still hopes that we will be able to acquire the "Tancred and Erminia" tapestry. We should like to keep it a little longer. We may have a Commission meeting next Monday and if nothing is decided then, I shall return the beautiful Gobelin to you. Would you consider taking our two Flemish tapestries, "The Story of St. Paul", in part exchange for the Gobelin?

I am looking forward to seeing you next month.

With all good wishes, I am

Very sincerely yours,
Adèle Weibel
