My dear Mr. Richardson:

Just a line to tell you that I will be in Detroit on Monday, and that I am very much looking forward to seeing you again.

With the kind permission of Dr. Valentiner, we are shipping to the Museum today a case containing six pictures.

I don't want to write to Dr. Valentiner again as I have written him several times recently, and on the other hand, I wanted to write you to announce my arrival, so if it is not any bother to you, could I ask you to take up with Dr. Valentiner the question of the unpacking of the pictures. You would do me a great favor, not only by having the pictures unpacked for me, but also by putting them away until my arrival, so that nobody outside of Dr. Valentiner and yourself can see them.

Among these pictures there are two SEURATs which I am bringing especially for Mr. Tannahill, and which I would like to show him myself.

With my kindest regards to Mrs. Richardson and yourself, believe me,

Sincerely yours,

(René Seligmann)

Edgar P. Richardson, Esq.,
