Mr. Germain Seligmann,
Jacques Seligmann and Company,
3 East 51st Street,
New York City.

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

I am sorry to say that I have not the faintest idea who this Mr. Maler of Neenah, Wisconsin, could be.

I am almost certain that he does not own a painting by Rembrandt.

I enjoyed seeing your beautiful collection of drawings very much, and I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you soon again.

Sincerely yours,
W. A. Valentiner
