My dear Mr. Jucker:

I have just received a letter from Mr. Waegen in which he informs me that he cannot send us the Gobelin portrait by Jans. It is a pity that we are not to have it, , but I am very glad to see from Mr. Waegen's letter that he will send us the Savonnerie screen.

Will you please send me by return mail a description of the screen, including measurements, etc.

I should like to have the tapestry and screen not later than March 3.

With many thanks for your kindness, I am

Very sincerely yours,
