Dear Jack:

I am in receipt of your letter of January 26th and, accordingly, have written this day to the owner of the Leonardo drawing of the "Bear", and as soon as I have word, will communicate with you.

In the meantime, come in and have a look at our new things which you haven't seen this year, and let's have lunch or spend an evening together.
