December 13, 1937.

My dear Mr. Seligmann:

I am sorry to trouble you again about Mrs. Straus's two sculptures. I find that I shall not be able to come to New York again before our exhibition opens.

However, I have asked Mr. Rathbone to go to the storage house to inspect the Verrocchio relief on December 20, and the piece will then be shipped to us by van with other objects coming from New York.

Will you be kind enough to call for the little bronze, the boy with fish, at Mrs. Straus's apartment. and turn it over with the Laurana relief to the van which will call for the objects about December 21 or 22.

I hope this will not cause you too much trouble.

Sincerely yours,

W. R. Valentiner

I had some charming letters from Mrs Strauss, she arranged to have the box opened on the 20th in presence of P. Rathb.
