November 17, 1937.

My dear Mr. Seligmann:

I am delighted to receive the good news that Mrs. Straus will actually lend us her Verrocchio relief and also the putto with dolphin.

I have written to her in the way you suggested and I shall be glad to go to the warehouse myself or have my assistant supervise the shipment of the piece.

Many thanks also for the pedigree of the Duke of Urbino, which we may have from your collection.

Our exhibition is making good progress and we are working on the catalogue.

With kind regards,

Sincerely yours,
W. R. Valentiner
