November 5, 1937.

My dear Mr. Seligmann:

I am greatly delighted to receive your letter with the good news that we may have Mrs. Straus' Verrocchio relief for our exhibition.

It is indeed very kind of you to go to so much trouble on our account, and I can assure you that the relief will get the place of honor in the exhibition. As soon as I hear from you again I will write to her.

I should like to have some photographs of the Alexander relief and also some data regarding the Laurana relief, in order to proceed with the catalogue.

With kindest regards,

Sincerely yours,

W. R. Valentiner
