Dear Mr. Seligman:

Thank you for your nice note of last week. Unfortunately, I expect to be in New York on the 21st and 22nd of February, i.e., at the time when you will be on your way. But I still hope that I can chat with you at greater length later on.

Mr. Lawrence Fleischman, the President of our Arts Commission, has noticed that we have in our museum no example of the Palissy ware. Do you know where there are some good examples? The 16th century section of the Detroit Institute is extremely weak in French decorative arts, and I thought that perhaps you might help us.

With cordial regards,
Paul Grigaut
