Dear Mr. Richardson:

These are but a few lines to tell you how pleasant it was to have had your visit in the company of your two friends and particularly to express my appreciation of the introduction to Mr. Lawrence A. Fleischman.

I was truly impressed with the genuine interest he showed in the works of art he saw at my Galleries. It is rare in our days to find a collector who really enthuses - especially over works of art of the Medieval period. May I add that I would not be surprised to learn that your personal influence had a great deal to do with the development of his taste along these lines.

The charming small marble bust he purchased is a proof of his knowledge.

With renewed appreciation and best wishes,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
