New York 22, N. Y. January 18, 1957 Dear Mr. Richardson: Do have my thanks for your so very kind letter of January 16th. I will apprise Dr. Bob Jones of the contents of your letter and of your laudatory comments on his painting, which I know will please him much. You have been so prompt in answering my last letter that I am wondering whether you received mine of December 27, 1956, referring to the article on "The Myth Of The Fragonard Portraits At Chantilly", which I am so happy to know you will publish. I was asking your opinion about certain suggestions, and before writing to Prince de Broglie, I would, of course, like to have your views on this particular matter. Should it not have reached you, I would send you a copy. With renewed thanks and personal regards, Sincerely yours, Germain Seligman Mr. Edgar P.
