December 7, 1955
Dear Mr. Grigaut

If I am indeed obliged to you for the information you so promptly forwarded about Mr. Reffealle Cauan, I am also deeply distressed to hear that I missed your good visit at my galleries.

Alfred Frankfurter was certainly no reason for your act, letting no know you were here and his visit was of little importance.

It would have given me much pleasure to be able to chat with you, however my only consolation is that you enjoyed your call on BAROS GROS,

Trusting there may be soon again another opportunity for your coming to New York, and renewed thanks for your kind lines of December 5th.

With personal regards,

Sincerely yours,
Germain Selingman
