November 28, 1955
Dear Mr. Grigaut:
may I inquire about Mr. Raffaello Causa's address, who's article on Guido Reni drawings I read in the "Art Quarterly" Spring 1955.

The reason for my asking this is that quite some time ago, I acquired a sheet of small sketches attributed to Guido Reni, which however the few art historians I consulted have not been able to identify.

I am therefore wondering whether Mr. Causa could be in a position to help me out. I assume he is an Italian art historian who specialized in this field, but this of course, is mere guessing on my part?

Hoping that I may have the pleasure of seeing you soon again, and thanking you in advance for your kind reply and with best personal greetings,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
