Dear Dr. Grigaut:

Pursuant to our earlier correspondence, I have just heard from Mr. Seligman, and he will be most happy to lent the Vuillard "La Mansarde" to your Fall exhibition.

Enclosed you will find the description and a photograph of this painting.

We note that you will take care of all expenses, and in this connection wish to mention that we will keep it covered under our insurance policy until it is returned to our gallery.

As we are closing the gallery for the month of August, I presume shipment after Labor Day will give ample time for its arrival. Or will one of the New York trucking companies assemble all of the paintings from this point? We shall await word from you of shipping instructions.

Incidentally, Mr. Seligman reminds me that the Bonnard you mentioned was sold in Europe some time ago.

Yours very sincerely,
Dr. Paul L. Grigaut,

Miss Jean - Send photo as well as this description.
