Dear Friend:

Thank you for you letter of September 8, which is here on my desk this morning. It is nice to hear from you.

I appreciate your confidence, but I am afraid as a speaker on art, I would be a tremendous "flop;" but you have given me the thought that it would be a good idea to make a talk on "Religion and Art" or "The Bible and Art," or something of the sort. If the lecture series is on other things besides art, I would certainly do a Shakespeare Lecture Recital with which I have had some experience.

One of two of our films might be especially interesting to them like WINE OF MORNING, or MACBETH, or THE WAKING MIDDLE EAST, and I am enclosing some information about these.

Our fall term has been under way now almost a week, as tomorrow ends the first week of classes. We are crowded to the rafters, as we have almost 150 more students than we had last year. We have made some new additions to our gallery, which I think you will like, and I hope on your next trip South you will stop by to see us. Kind regards and best wishes- -and thanks again for writing.

Sincerely yours,
Bob
President
