Dear Mrs. Parker:

Thank you for your June 19 letter, which has come in Dr. Jones' absence from the University. He left the campus last Wednesday for speaking engagements in California, and it will be another ten days before he returns.

However, when he called long distance yesterday, I had an opportunity to mention your letter to him, and he was glad to hear from you. I also told him that Mr. Walker writes that he does not plan to do the article. 

Your letter and Mr. Walker's letter have been sent along to Dr. Jones in California, and I know he will be glad to have this word from you concerning publication of the Vannuccio Crucifix.
