will take place in the Auditorium this Tuesday evening, May 12, at 8:15. The concert, jointly sponsored by the Recording and Transcription Fund of the Musicians Union, Local 73, and the Institute, will include works by Purcell, Mozart, and Alban Berg. The members of the Quartet are Samuel Flor, violin, Clifton Jackson, violin, William Bagwell, viola, and Eric Wahlin, cello. For the first part of their program they will present Purcell's Chacony in G major; Mozart's Duet in G major for violin and viola, K. 423; and Alban Berg's Quartet, Opus 3. After the intermission they will be joined by Frank Windsor and Bruce Rardin, hornists, for a performance of Mozart's Sextet for Quartet and Two Horns in F major. 

Wings Around The World

"Wings Around the World," the Education Department's field trip program for school children between grades 6 and 12 presented in cooperation with the Junior League, has attracted an average of 100 pupils a day to its thrice-weekly lectures and gallery tours since the beginning of the spring term on April 14, Nancy B. Swan, director of the program has announced. Participation in the program is on a voluntary basis, with school children being offered a great number of alternatives from which to choose their two or three field trips a year. Groups attending this term's program have come largely from schools in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
