Just a note to thank you for showing us such marvelous drawings and to ask you to reserve the Gericault for us until I have a chance to write you in more detail regarding same towards the end of the week. 

Tell Ethlyne I am sorry we were unable to join you Saturday afternoon. Also tell her that upon my return I found a note announcing Larry's appointment as Director of the Nelson Gallery.
