November 28, 1952

Dear Dick:

In answer to your note of November 25, I am indeed much obliged to you for returning the small [[strikethrough]] Bonnard [[/strikethrough]] Bonington drawing as long as it does not live up to your expectations.

I would be upset at the thought that you were keeping a drawing Phyllis and you did not particularly care for.

Thus please dismiss the matter from your mind and consider the purchase you made as per the invoice you received as simply cancelled.

I am glad to hear that you will be in New York anon and am much looking forward to seeing you.

With kind thoughts,

Sincerely yours,

(Germain Seligman)
