On the left, St. Georges in armour is sitting on his horse, his lifted right arm holding a pear. The horse's right from leg is raised and its head is turned right, away from the sight of the dragon's head at its feet, in the front foreground. Behind St. Georges, surrounding him, is a halo of light.
