pretends that, under the Laws of Georgia Mr. Low has every right to the whole property, and that if I attempt to enforce my claim, he will cause my arrest by the civil authority.  He also tells me that he is well acquainted with you, and that he knows, if he lays the case before you, you will not only reprimand me, but in all probability dismiss me as agent for this county.  In this connection, General, I wish to say that if I am to be bullied by traitors, and they are to be encouraged in it by you, the sooner I am dismissed the better.

Your early attention to the foregoing matter will oblige me.

I received your circular No 3 yesterday and take this occasion to add my endorsement to the evidence that parties are making private contracts before Justices of the Peace and other civil officers to avoid the examination by agents, and to avoid the payment of fees.
