4. At loadout 24-48 hrs constant work. So else did midnight snacks. 
5. In Ray's cookhouse only 40 could be served. Ate in shifts.
6. Planning was very important with a travelling cookhouse. Crew could eat 24 hrs. 
7. Simple: PBJ, cereal, etc.
8. Once had Mongolian act. Male Yak meat. Rendered and saved fat for guys. They used it like butter. Meat was very gamey. 
For Russians he'd cook Polish. They loved it. 
Cooked fancy for holidays. Lobster etc. Also standards Turkey, Ham, etc
