A) 56 ethnic groups (more or less) in China, each has maintained an attempted to maintain their traditions and cultural diversity
B) Trustee emphasis over the last 50-70 years by government to preserve ethnic minorities
C) Although these musicians are primarily focused on preserving their own culture, they welcome the opportunity to interact with musicians globally in order to find the commonality of great music & specifically great folk music :)
