Your communication of 17th inst. is rec'd, and the Asst Commr directs me to say in reply that no distribution of rations can be made except through the agents appointed for the purpose. Upon application to Mr Neal, agent for your county, and if actually destitute as you claim, you will receive the same aid that is given to others of your class
