Dr McGavock a large planter from Arkansas & a gentleman of well known reliability & means who offers good pay and will treat well & kindly all freedpeople employed by him is in this State in search of laborers on his plantation in Arkansas - The Dr desires to hire some two hundred hands now and five hundred in a few weeks. The Asst Comr directs that you communicate with Capt N. S. Hill A.S.A Comr of the Bureau at Macon where the Doctor has gone in pursuance of his business in this State as to the probability of procuring the whole or a less number of hands in your District particularly from Henry Co. The Asst Comr particularly desires that every aid & facility be rendered Dr McGavock
