Bluff" where at request of civ authorities case was returned to the Asst. Comm. & investigated by a military officer. The parties were bound in the sum. of one thousand dollars. |

Remarks:  Not one of the above cases (with the exception of the two freed people) were acted upon by the civil authorities until requested by the Agents of the Bureau.

Note in 4th entry - I think Euhalie Cass Co. is supposed to be Euharlee, but isn't spelled that way in this document, so typed as I saw. Note for 2nd Entry - I believe that 'blow the abdomen' is meant to be 'below the abdomen'
