Dawson A. Walker being duly sworn says he saw in the hands of G. W. Selvidge what purporting to be a copy of a letter from some Revenue Officer (named Holland as well as I recollect) stating substantially that said Selvidge had been charged as being "a vile rebel" and that Eldorado had rightly been recommended as a suitable person for his successor. My recollection is that said letter appeared to have been sent to W H Watson Assessor In. Rev. Atlanta Ga & the copy sent by him to said Selvidge.
