Personally appeared Bob Crawford a man of color and duly sworn says he is the one who weighs out the rations send by GM Selvidge agt at Dalton and that Mr Selridge always told him that the colored and union people must first be provided for, that the government intended especially to see that the destitute of these classes should be supplied - and for deponent always to give them weight especially - that witness stays about the office of Mr. Selridge all the time and is sure no one ever was refused rations because of being colored or a union citizens. In case where Mr Barcly had issued Mr Selridge did not issue for certain times - he wanted to distribute so that all the destitute of the county should be supplied
