My dear Miss. Williams:--

Your welcome letter of March 27th was duly received, and the kakemono have arrived in perfect condition. I am very happy, indeed, to know that the exhibition proved so satisfactory.

I have enjoyed the little stanza greatly. Kindly present my compliments and thanks to the authoress.

Cordially yours,

Miss Williams,
