Charles L. Freer, Esq.,
Care, Hon. Thomas S. Jerome, U.S. Consul,
Capri, Italy.

My dear Sir:--

The box containing the two Japanese Screens and one Kakemono, belonging to Dr. F. W. Mann, was yesterday afternoon delivered to the American Express Company by Stephen, and I have this morning made arrangements with Mr. Reid, of the American Express Company, for their prompt shipment, prepaying charges on same, amounting to $9.25. I have advised both Mr. Jerome and Messrs. E. G. Vickers & Company that the goods have been forwarded, enclosing a copy of invoice to each.

Early next week, the Express Company will inform me of name of steamer which will carry this package, and date of sailing of same, when I will be pleased in turn to convey this information to Mr. Jerome and Messrs. Vickers & Company.

Yours very truly,
