Thomas S. Jerome, Esq.,
Capri, Italy.

My dear Mr. Jerome:--

Referring to the shipment of two screens and one kakemono, belonging to Dr. Mann, made by Mr. Freer to Messrs. E. G. Vickers & Company, and of which you were advised in my letter of the 17th instant. As named therein, I now have pleasure in advising you that the shipment leaves New York on S. S. "Aller", sailing June 1st. This is the first steamer sailing for an Italian port that the package could connect with.

Yours very truly,
[?]
