Geo. H. Russel, Esq.,
Treasurer, Yaeger Canon Copper Mines,
Detroit, Mich.

Dear Sir:--

I hold 17,330 shares of the Capital Stock of the Yaeger Canon Copper Mines. A surrender by me to the Treasury of thirty percent of this would amount to 5199 shares, leaving 12,131 shares. At the recent conference, I subscribed for 2869 shares, in payment for 1-4 of which subscription I enclose my check for $717.25, payable to your order. I also enclose the following certificates:

#144 for 937 shares,
171 for 782 shares,
182 for 1111 shares,
2830 shares

which, together with the 2869 shares subscribed for, makes 5699 shares, or 500 shares in excess of the 30% surrendered, for which number of shares I would be glad to have you give me certificate.

Yours very truly,
C.L. Freer
