June 17th, 1901.

Dear Mrs. Wilson:--

Yours of the 26th instant, addressed to Mr. Freer, has been opened by me in Mr. Freer's absence. Mr Freer sailed for Europe on May 18th, and expects to be absent until about September 1st. I have had two letters from him, written in the best of spirits, and expressing himself unqualifiedly as to the enjoyment of his trip. I will enclose your letter to him when I next write him.

With warmest personal regards,
sincerely yours,
Frank J. Hecker
