Dear Tryon:--

Col. Hecker has returned home, and I have just shown him Mr. Townsend's letter to you of the 3rd instant. He has read the same carefully, and says he is entirely willing to leave to you the decision as to sending the pictures. He says that whatever suits you will suit him.
