Dear Sir:--

Replying to your letter of April 16th, addressed to the American Car & Foundry Company, which has been in turn referred to me, I beg to say that the stockholders of the Michigan-Peninsular Car Company received settlement in full for their stock from the Guaranty Trust Company of New York City. The old corporation has been dissolved and the business of the company has been entirely disposed of.

Yours respectfully,
Charles L. Freer
Late Managing Director of the Michigan-Peninsular Car Company.
