George R. Turnbull, 2nd V. P.,
Guaranty Trust Company of N. Y.,
#65 Cedar Street, New York City.

My dear Mr. Turnbull:--

I find in this morning's mail letters addressed to the Maple Lane Farm Company in answer to communications sent from this office on April 30th, signed by Col. Hecker and myself. Won't you kindly issue instructions to your various departments, directing them to in future direct their replies to our communications to either Col. Hecker or myself, in accordance with whichever signatures our letters may bear. By complying with this request, you will avoid confusion here and insure the delivery of your letters to the proper persons.

I hope you are very well these days. I am enjoying perfect health. Two weeks from to-day, I expect to sail from New York for southern Italy to be gone a couple of months. I shall take pleasure in calling at your office a day or two before sailing.

With kind regards,

Yours very truly,
Charles L Freer
