[[?]]. H. Williams, Esq.,
Sheffield, Mass.

Dear Sir:--

Replying to your letter of May 8th. You do not mention how much gravel Mr. Olenny will want, so you may draw from my gravel pit whatever you need up to the time that I visit Sheffield, will be on Wednesday or Thursday of next week. It at that time you will give me an approximate idea of how much he wants, I will be very glad, if possible, to furnish it. Of course, I shall make no charge for the gravel. As you know, I shall need considerable gravel on my own place when I begin the road building, and if there is enough to supply Mr. Olenny's wants and my own, I will be glad to help him out. I will look the matter over next Wednesday or Thursday with you, when I hope we can arrange to supply all that will be needed.

I will stop at Great Barrington and drive to the farm Wednesday, afternoon, and visit it again on Thursday.

Yours very truly,
Charles L. Freer
