Dear Sir - Your complimentary letter came as a happy Christmas greeting. Am glad the Berge brought satisfaction.
To-day brings me a treasure that more than most things will warm your heart.
No. 1. A Tea Bowl, Shidoro stoneware.
Cylindrical form with characteristic indentation, Over an even and brown glaze of manganise are rough brush markings of impaired abandon in light-ochre enamel outside and in. Mark of Shidoro (imp) the acute angle seal given by Moree (No 1720) Province of Tolomi, 1750(?) silk bag.
Height-2 3/4 width 4 3/8
This is a brief outline for an initiate; but a volume might be written on this one little example of the pattern art 
Undoubtedly the finest example I have ever seen, I gladly give you the final-view.
