Columbus, January 20, 1868.
Complaint:
See O.B. 6.
"Settled"
Sella (colored girl) with Mr. Johnson, Druggist, has been reported for calling for clothes at a store without authority. 
Settled satisfactory to both parties. Dress and Cloak returned

Columbus, January 21, 1868.
Complaint:

Wesley and Frazer states that Dr. W.W. Topp has not paid them for all wages for the year 1867.
Dr Topp states that as soon as cotton is sold he will pay all due. Will give security if necessary.

Columbus, January 23, 1868.
Complaint:

Francis states that Dr Jourden has not paid her for services for 1867. That she worked eight (8) mo's and was to receive $75.00.
Will appear on Friday

Sam Melburne made an affidavit before the Mayor that his wife was detained on a plantation without giving her consent. Sargeant Kane was sent to the plantation and after stating the case to both parties, turned the woman over to her husband.

Toney Dunlop & Burdee Dunlop state that Summerfield Sykes has not paid them for the year 1867
Settled no money due the parties above mentioned

Anderson Hoe states that Mr Balden has not paid him for services. Makes an affidavit to that effect.
No money due him. Owes his employer $95.00 for food.

Wooldridge (col) states that Dick Kemp has not paid him for services. Makes an affidavit to that effect.
