Returns speak for themselves.

If results are to traced to their causes, it will be found, that the original cause of delay consisted in the incorrectness or incompleteness of every Report Return and Certified Account transmitted by Col. Montgomery to this Office, and the consequent necessity of returning them for Correction.

Sir,
I am directed by the Asst Com. to acknowledge receipt of the papers in the case of Denis Harrison vs. Nancy Youngblood.

So much of your decision as allows Denis Harrison $60. for services for self and wife is disapproved. It appears from the evidence that Harrison only remained with Mrs Youngblood until he could find a place; and from his own testimony he claims to have spent most of his time trading with his pigs, chickens & little things.

The judgement of $200 less $29 paid, againt Mrs. Youngblood in favor of Denis Harrison is approved.

I am very Respectfully
