I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of the appointment of Mr. Charles Haughn at a salary of one hundred and twenty five dollars per month.

The other Asst. Superintendents of Education in this state receive a salary of one hundred and fifty dollars and I would recommend that Mr. Haughn receive the same as he is an efficient officer.
