The State of Texas }
County of Trinity }

To the Sheriff or any Constable of [[strikethrough]] Texas [[/strikethrough]] Trinity County. [[strikethrough]] as to [[/strikethrough]]

Greeting - You are hereby commanded to arrest the body of G. W. Cook. if in your County to be found. and him in your Custody Safely Keep and Secure. So as that you have him the Said G. W. Cook forthwith before me at my residence. then and there to answer the State of Texas and be Enquired of as to the truth of an accusation of Theft preferred against Said Cook [[strikethrough]] prepared [[/strikethrough]] on the complaint and oath of Mrs Phebe Allen.

Herein fail not. but have you then and there  This warrant of arrest. with your Endorsement thereon Showing how you have Executed the Same, Given under my hand this the [[strikethrough]] 1/ [[/strikethrough]] ,11.th day of April 1867.

The City Marshall returns information that the party is in the city but he as a city marshall has no power to arrest  I respectfully refer back with the information by the officer in charge who will point out the man
